Welcome to Grizedale Mountain Bikes

Well summer is now over (if you can call it a summer!), but there is a full and fun packed (probably wet!) Autumn to look forward too!

A lot is happening and starting to happen in Grizedale this summer and even more will happen by the end of this year. As some of you might already know, the nearly £5 million development of Grizedale Visitor Centre is well underway, Grizedale Mountain Bikes taking advantage of this time by planning and investing in brand new premises. Yes, a bigger shop with more products and better services across the board. A big cheer for our friends from Go Ape! and Grizedale Cafe which are also busily involved in the redevelopment.

OUR NEW SHOP IS NOW OPEN AND ITS WELL WORTH A LOOK IN, WE HAVE EXPANDED OUR PRODUCTS AND NOW HAVE A GREATER RANGE, AND LOTS OF NEW PRODUCTS! Come have a look and say hi, we can help with all your Biking needs!

It’s the second year since the opening of the North Face Mountain Biking Trail, so if you haven’t ridden on all of its 9 sections forming an amazing 10-mile circuit, there is another really good reason why you should come and visit us, spend a day riding in Grizedale Forest, enjoy summer with your family and chums. Although the trail has opened in March 2006, our Grizedale Mountain Bikes team promises that Grizedale forest will never cease to surprise and delight even the experienced riders.

Last but not least, we have a new range of bikes for hire, a few bargains in our online shop section, new links to some amazing websites and an image gallery which is slowly – but steadily – growing.

For bike hire arrangements, you can call us daily from 9AM to 5PM on 01229 860 369.

We look forward to meeting you in Grizedale Forest!
